0.00

This Velocette racer was set up specifically for racing at the legendary Isle of Man.

It is comprised of a 947 KSS 350cc engine in a Venom frame (take note of the factory adjustable suspension geometry).  In the final development of the KSS engine, “K” (which stood for camshaft), and “SS” (for Super sports), the power plant also received various improvements over its predecessor, the KTT, including improved gear change operation.

The British manufacturer set records, taking 1st-4th place in the Isle of Man Jr. TT of 1947, the first year of racing at the Isle since WWII broke in 1939. Velocette continued to produce the KSS in various form until late 1948.
