1971 Honda CL175 Scrambler

2,200.00

This vintage Honda is an extremely original example — a true survivor bike in stunning condition. Gorgeous orange paint with “bat wing” black details. The classic scrambler pipes and heat shield are super clean.

A unique model, the CL175 was a direct successor to the CB160. Honda retained the twin-cylinder motor, but manufactured the cylinders to a new displacement of 174cc, a change that reportedly increased the horsepower by 20%. A fifth gear was added to the gearbox as well. The high swept pipes made this bike such a hot seller that CB160 owners were purchasing “scrambler modification kits” from dealerships in emulation of the exciting new model.

The carbs have been rebuilt and the timing set. The front brake cable has been replaced. Unfortunately the horn button does not work. The odometer reads 10,705 miles.

This motorcycle starts easily and runs as great as it looks! Please watch the video linked below.
