1971 Triumph Tiger Bobber

This 1971 Triumph Tiger TR6C is a fully custom-built Bobber made from a David Bird Hardtail rear end. In addition to frame work, the stock motor has been bored from 650cc to 700cc.

This model year saw a lot of redesign from Triumph, including: revised forks, new wheels, conical hubs, and a revised body style. Triumph also introduced the oil-bearing, all-welded lug-less frame that greatly reduced the stock weight. Excluding the Bonneville sister model, each of the TR6 Tiger models came with a single carburetor instead of two. This particular Tiger was born as a TR6C - meaning it initially had high swept pipes.

We gave this bike a fresh tune-up and it starts and runs very well. The tank has been sealed previously, and the sealant is beginning to deteriorate.

Purchase of the motorcycle also includes a paint-matched helmet, size medium. Give us a call or email if you have any questions! Clean title in hand. Build and part sheets are also available.
