Classic R60 Airhead

I'd describe this 1975 BMW R60/6 as the perfect combination of city ripper and highway cruiser. This 600cc Airhead is a real pleasure to ride. No matter if it sits for a day or 3 monthes, it has alway started right up for me. It's a true testament to BMW's "simple by design" philosophy.

Clean title in hand of course, 20k miles, and I still enjoy riding this bike today. Recently, I've done the simple yet critical maintainace of motor oil (and filter), transmission (gear) oil, final drive oil, and driveshaft oil. Keeping the carbs nice and clean was simple thanks to a great set of fuel filters and high quality fuel lines. The battery cranks the bike to life almost instantly, then idles like a sewing machine, just like a BMW should. When German engineering and vintage soul come together, this BMW R60/6 is the result. Come take a ride on it and see how these smooth machines got thier great reputation.
